WELCOME TO WAKE FOREST MEMORIAL POST 8466

Wake Forest Memorial VFW Post 8466
As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Kosovo, the Persian Gulf, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.

Post Christmas Celebration

Traditionally, our Post holds our annual Christmas Celebration in lieu of our regular meeting during the month of December. To make this a true celebration in the spirit of Christmas, family is invited and encouraged to attend. Join us Thursday evening, 5 December 2024, at 6 PM at the Forks Cafeteria & Catering, 339 Brooks St, Wake Forest for dinner and camaraderie. Santa has been contacted, and will leave presents for all! Post members attend free of charge, but there is a fee of $25 per person for guests, payable at the door. We need a head count as soon as possible, so contact Howard Lowdermilk or Charlie Cable to let them know that you are coming. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
