1949 - 2026: Michael Delos Reeve, aka Santa Mike passed away to a better place on June 2, 2026. He was born August 31, 1949, in Corpus Christi, TX, to the late Marian Marsh Reeve and Delos Barton Reeve. His father was a Navy Commander, so the family traveled the world. At 14, they were living in Hawaii, where Mike became a championship surfer. Later, he joined the Army, becoming a helicopter pilot and instructor. He received a Purple Heart when his helicopter was shot down in Vietnam. Mike also received a Bronze Star during his service. Mike loved to play golf, and was a Life Member of Wake Forest Memorial VFW Post 8466. He is survived by his devoted wife, Anne M. Reeve; son and great caregiver, Michael Barton Reeve; brother, John Reeve and his wife, Julie; grandsons, Dallas Grimestead and Matthew Reeve; and great-grandsons, Noah Reeve and Trey Reeve.
