Each month from April through October, an American Flag is raised in front of the Wake Forest Town Hall at Centennial Plaza to honor the sacrifices of a deceased Wake Forest Veteran and their family.

Join us for Wake Forest's own Friday Night on White outdoor street festival! There will be great music, good food, and some adult beverages. Of course, the Chuck Wagon will be there serving our regular menu of 100% Sirloin Burgers, Nathan's All-beef Franks and delicious Bratwurst subs. The Annual Purple Heart Banquet is Back for 2024!
The Purple Heart medal is presented to service members who have been wounded or killed as a result of enemy action while serving in the U.S. military. Please come and help us honor those Purple Heart recipients who were wounded and returned home. The banquet will take place on Saturday, August 3. 2024 at 3 PM at Richland Creek Community Church, 3229 Burlington Mills Road, Wake Forest.
