1928 - 2020   Bill was a retired Navy veteran serving our country for twenty years as a corpsman and x-ray technician. He was able to continue in that role at UNC Hospital-Chapel Hill, until he retired. Then Bill and his wife Verne traveled the USA working as hosts at state parks in the continental USA and Alaska.
