1945 - 2021: Sam Tillitt passed away at his home on September 12, 2021. He is survived by his wife Marie, 2 sons, 3 stepchildren and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sam served in Vietnam with the US Marine Corps, where he was wounded and was awarded the Purple Heart after surviving a land mine explosion. He will always be remembered as a valued member of VFW Post 8466.
